Warning Signs

Many people at risk or in the early stages of kidney disease are frequently unaware as there a very few, and sometimes unnoticeable symptoms. The list below identifies the most common detectible symptoms of kidney failure.

  • Changes in urination
  • Unexplained tiredness
  • Lack of appetite
  • Nausea
  • Bad taste in mouth
  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Shortness of breath
  • Swelling in face, hands and/or feet
  • Skin rash/itching
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Sleep disturbance
